Top 4 popular types of fan lashes

What are fan lashes?

Volume fan lashes are made up of many lash extensions that are connected at the base and applied in the same way that individual lash extensions are done. Fans can be produced by hand using a variety of techniques, obtained ready-made or pre-made. Pre-made volume fans, also known as pro-made lashes, are volume fans that are manufactured in advance by an eyelash extension vendor and given to the lash expert, ready to be dunked and applied to a client's lash. We give our take on the top four types of fan lashes:

Easy fan lashes:

Easy fans are a new variant of lashes created with extra volume in focus. Since they are lightweight, they are very minimal on natural lashes without being a burden on your client's natural lashes. Easy fan lashes are distinguished by a technology that enables the convenient and simple production of fans that do not crumble and are organized to glue right away. As a result, lash artists get perfectly symmetrical fans that are simple to attach to natural lashes. Any volume technique can be applied with easy fan lashes.

The finest easy fan lashes will allow you to complete a volume set quickly, and they will hold their shape and can be applied in the same way as ordinary lash extensions. Easy fan lashes, when done properly, give the client a magnificent appearance and a high standard of voluminous lashes with little or no effort. Easy Fan Lashes are a set of lashes that are self-fanning. They have a thinner base and can easily make fans. They save a substantial amount of time.

Pre-made fan lashes

Pre-made fan lashes

Pre-made fans are made in a similar way to handmade volume lashes in which a person is involved, but a machine aids the process. A row of fine PBT threads is generally laid on a lash tray, and the bases of these threads are attached together.. The threads will be coiled into the required curl and heat-processed to keep the curl once the root adhesion is complete. Once the curl is done, the lash manufacturers at the supplier's facility will apply the desired amount of thread to the strip and manually open the fans, just like at the lash studio. The final fans are then precisely affixed to a strip of glue and sent out on a tray with rows of other prefabricated lash fans.

Pre-made fans are distinct in the way that lash fibers have already been bonded and are ready to use. It's a cluster of two to twenty lashes that have been glued together at the base. The process is typically aided by a machine, resulting in a quick and efficient process. Pre-made fans are known as “Promade” fans within LLBA’s portfolio.

Handmade fan lashes

Without the aid of machines, the lash artist creates handmade fans. Handmade fans are usually made during lash appointments in real-time. They are made by extracting a few extensions from a strip, fanning them according to the client's preference, dipping them in glue, and placing them on the client's lash, resulting in a solid bond on the natural lash. As a lash expert, you make the fan by arranging a number of thin, delicate lashes in a fan shape adjacent to each other. Depending on how fluffy your client wants their final look to be, the number of lashes in each fan will vary.

Heat bonded fan lashes

A double-heated process is used to make heat-bonded fans. This is a wonderful, non-gluey alternative for fans! They employ a specific heating procedure to retain the lashes in the fan shape without using glue or anything else that could make them bulkier. Lash extensions are put in a row before being heated. The lashes' root is heat-pressed to melt lightly, allowing the lashes to join together. The lash extensions are then rolled to form curls, and the roll is then processed in a heat processor to seal the curl. Heat-bonded premade fans can assist lash artists of all skill levels, give volume, length, extra drama, and curl to a client's natural lashes without excess adhesive.
